One Month of TrackrRacing: The Real Numbers

Most tipping sites show you their winners. We're going to show you everything.

TrackrRacing has now been running daily for a full month — 5 June to 5 July. Every selection the database produced went into the app, results were recorded, and nothing has been deleted or quietly forgotten. Here's the honest picture.

The headline numbers

• 145 tips published across the month
• 104 settled so far
• 30 winners — a 29% win strike rate
• 65 of 104 selections won or placed — 62%

For context: backing blind favourites historically wins around 33% of the time at short prices. Our selections are drawn from tracked horses across all price ranges — including each-way picks at 8/1 and bigger — which makes a 29% strike rate with a 62% win-or-place rate a strong first month.

How the system works

TrackrRacing doesn't do hunches. Every week the racing press flags hundreds of horses to follow — and everyone forgets them by the weekend. We don't. Every one goes into our database, and every morning we cross-reference the full UK and Irish declarations against weeks of tracked history. When a tracked horse turns up on today's card, the system catches it, we check the market, and it goes on the sheet.

Some of the month's highlights came exactly this way: Priapos landed at Carlisle after the database flagged him, Lope Y Linda won at Ayr four days after the same horse taught us a lesson at Beverley, and Dream Ka, Dyonisos and Maid In Devon all delivered in the final week.

What we're fixing (because honesty is the product)

A real record means showing the flaws too:

1. Odds recording. Too many early tips went into the system without the price at the time of posting. That means we can't yet publish a verified profit-and-loss figure — the number that matters most. From July onwards every tip carries its odds, and monthly P&L reporting starts from there.
2. Unsettled results. Around 28 tips from June are still marked pending. They're being settled this week and the strike rate will be updated — whichever way they move it.
3. Cleaner data. Names and courses are now standardised so every horse's history is tracked correctly.

We'd rather show you an imperfect real record than a perfect fake one.

What's next

July runs on the upgraded system: every tip priced, every result settled same-day, and a published monthly P&L. One free pick every day. The full daily sheet — bankers, solid plays and each-way value with jockey analysis — is on the site every morning.
